Went by the house and they had done a little more. All the felt is down for the roof so shingles should be going up next. All the cross beams are down for the most part inside, so we got to play around in it more so than usual.

Forgot two things..
exterior walls
Holy Craptacular Batman! We have exterior walls, some windows and the plywood is down for the roof. We drove by and they were working on it, so we went and killed about 2 and a half hours in Georgetown eating dinner. Then went and walked around Linenes and things, and then grabbed some ice cream at cold stone. Yum...I even had raspberry in honor of papa faas. LOL....We did find a good place for breakfast for us to eat at and for when we have company. It even opens at 6 AM so I know Papa Faas will really love it. Pictures up next.
Trying to get a good picture of the exterior of a house down the street because they have the same brick color we chose. This way everyone can see what color it is.

Walls and more
We made it to the property this morning to see how the progress was coming along. They had done quite a bit more since Friday evening. It's pretty much framed out. Not much more to do on that end. We should seen exterior walls and windows soon. Ian was able to get a nice protective layer of demon around the home. Can't wait to see walls in the interior so I can show ya'll the layout a little more so.

We have Walls!
As the title suggests, we have walls going up officially now. It was a nice surprise to drive up and see the consturction crew hard at work on the house. Too bad none of them look as good as Ty from Extreme Home Makeover, but alas, they are at least doing something good. Cant have it all I guess. LOL...Not much planned for us this weekend. We are going to drive by the house again on Sunday so Ian can spray with the Demon and I can get a lot more pictures. We didn't want to disturb them while they were working hard so these three pictures will have to make do for now.~Hugs

We have foundation!!
As the title states we officially have foundation! Let me tell you how exciting it was to drive up and see that we have moved on to another step of our home building process. It had to have been poured at least one if not two days ago since the foundation was dry that we couldn't write our initials in it. As you will see in the following pictures, it was so dry we could walk on it. We are thinking that we should see the walls start to be framed out by Tuesday if the weather stays nice. So we aren't going back out until at least Tuesday. Up next pictures!

replumbed
As the title states, we have been replumbed. We went by the home to check things out since it was a gorgeous day. They had to replumb us for some reason. All we are doing now is waiting on the inspector to come out and give it a thumbs up and we will be getting our foundation poured. So, hopefully this weekend we will get it. Cross your fingers. We are ready to see that beautiful concrete poured. LOL! Not much else to post about so on to the pictures.

You say it's your birthday!
Well today is Ian's birthday and we are going to go out for dinner to celebrate. He already got his presents from me. I got him two Star Wars leggo's creations to be put together as well as the media kit for his phone so he could download music to it, since it's a mp3 player as well. No update on the house for the simple fact is has been raining since last Thursday so they haven't done anything to it. I wouldn't be surprised if they have to maybe redo some of the stuff they have done just because of all the rain. I guess we will see once we get a break in the rain. Which right now isn't going to be until next Monday. We have about a 40 percent chance through then. Although weather forecast can chance from one morning to the next. I guess that is all the news for now.

Weekend Update
We have had a pretty good weekend so far. We went into Kingwood to visit my parents and to celebrate Ian's birthday with them. They cooked him steaks, potato's, beans and rolls for his birthday dinner and we did a baskin robbins ice cream cake. We got to see my brother, sister Misty, our nephew Hayden and of course my parents. Then today on our way home we went by the property to see if any work had been done. We have had our water pipes ran through where they will soon be pouring the foundation. No telling when the foundation will be poured because they still need to run the steel pipes through but that should be the next thing we see them do. Then shortly after should be the foundation pouring. Hoping to catch it wet still so we can put our initials in somewhere. Pictures next.
